1. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time, for any reason, in under 30 seconds.
Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel from your dashboard. That's it.
- Cancellation is entirely self-service — you do it yourself from your account.
- You do not need to call a phone number.
- You do not need to send an email.
- You do not need to give a reason.
- There is no minimum commitment period.
- There are no cancellation fees.
Once you cancel, you will see a confirmation on screen and receive a confirmation email immediately.
2. What Happens After You Cancel
- Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Weekly plan: access until the end of your current paid week.
- Monthly plan: access until the end of your current paid month.
- No more charges. After cancellation, we will not charge your payment method again.
- Your account stays active. It reverts to the free plan — you can still browse jobs and access CVs and cover letters you already generated.
- You can re-subscribe anytime if you change your mind.
3. Cancelling During the Trial Period
Your 3-day trial gives you full access to all Pro features. Here is how cancellation works during the trial:
Within the first 24 hours
If you cancel within 24 hours of starting your trial, your trial payment is fully refunded. The refund is processed automatically — no need to contact support. You will lose access to Pro features once the refund is issued.
After 24 hours but before the trial ends
If you cancel after the first 24 hours but before your 3-day trial expires:
- The trial payment is not refunded (the service was made available to you).
- Your Pro access continues until the end of the 3-day trial period.
- No further charges will be made. Your subscription will not convert to a recurring plan.
If you don't cancel before the trial ends
Your subscription automatically converts to the recurring plan you selected at checkout (weekly or monthly). You will be charged at the rate and frequency shown during checkout and in your confirmation email.
4. Refund Policy — Candidates
Refunds we issue automatically
- ✓ Duplicate charges — if our system detects a double charge, we refund the duplicate automatically.
- ✓ Charges after confirmed cancellation — if you are charged after your cancellation was confirmed, you are entitled to a full refund.
- ✓ Trial cancelled within 24 hours — full refund of the trial payment, processed automatically.
Refunds upon request
- ● Technical error — if a verified technical issue on our end prevented you from using the service for a significant portion of your billing period, we may issue a proportional refund at our discretion. Contact support with details of the issue.
- ● Unauthorized charge — if you can demonstrate that a charge was made without your authorization, we will issue a full refund.
Situations where we do not issue refunds
- ✗ Partial billing periods already used (e.g., cancelling mid-week or mid-month).
- ✗ Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content (CVs, cover letters) — the service was delivered.
- ✗ Not finding a job through the platform — we do not guarantee employment outcomes.
- ✗ Not using the service during a paid period — access was available to you.
- ✗ Change of mind after the first 24 hours of the trial.
Refund processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional 1–2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.
5. Refund Policy — Employers
Individual job postings
- ✗ Once a job listing is published and live on the platform, the posting fee is non-refundable — the service has been delivered.
- ✓ If your listing was not published due to a technical error on our end, you are entitled to a full refund.
- ✗ If your listing was removed because it violated our Terms of Service, no refund is issued.
Posting credit packages
- Unused posting credits are refundable on a pro-rata basis if requested within 90 days of purchase.
- After 90 days, unused credits expire and are no longer refundable.
6. Billing Disputes & Unrecognized Charges
Don't recognize a charge on your statement? Please contact us at support@workingremote-jobs.com before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank.
We can usually resolve billing issues within 24–48 hours and issue a refund within days if one is warranted. Filing a chargeback directly with your bank without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended and can take 60–90 days to resolve.
Identifying charges on your statement
Charges from WorkingRemote may appear on your bank or credit card statement as:
- WORKINGREMOTE*
- WR*JOBS
For example, a charge from WORKINGREMOTE* corresponds to your subscription. A recurring charge corresponds to your monthly plan — the amount and date match what was shown at checkout and in your confirmation email.
How to resolve a billing dispute
- Email support@workingremote-jobs.com with: your full name, the email on your account, the last 4 digits of the card charged, and the date and amount of the charge.
- We will respond within 24–48 business hours with a full explanation of the charge.
- If a refund is warranted, we will initiate it immediately.
- If no refund is due, we will explain exactly what the charge was for so you can verify it.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is filed with your bank without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend account access until the dispute is resolved. We will cooperate fully with your bank during the investigation.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to support@workingremote-jobs.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include: your full name, the email address on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief reason for the request.
- We will review your request and respond within 24–48 business hours.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.
