Welcome to WorkingRemote (workingremote-jobs.com), operated by Working Remote Jobs LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("Working Remote Jobs LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WorkingRemote, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use WorkingRemote. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. Description of Service
WorkingRemote is a remote job board with AI-powered career tools. Our services include:
- Job search and discovery — browse and filter remote job listings from companies worldwide.
- AI resume builder — generate a professional CV tailored to your experience using artificial intelligence.
- AI cover letter generator — create personalized cover letters for specific job listings.
- Auto-apply — automatically submit applications to multiple relevant job openings on your behalf.
- Employer job posting — companies can publish remote job listings to reach qualified candidates.
Some features are available for free. Others require a paid subscription (the "Pro Plan"). Feature availability may change over time.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your account information up to date.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We use passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free Services
Browsing job listings on WorkingRemote is free and does not require a paid subscription or payment method. Free users can search, filter, and view job listings without restriction. Creating an account is required to save jobs and manage preferences, but the account itself is free.
5. Subscription Terms & Billing
Certain premium features (the "Pro Plan") require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms.
5.1 Trial Period
- New subscribers may be offered a free 3-day trial period.
- The trial is free of charge — no payment is required upfront.
- During the trial, you have full access to all Pro Plan features.
- At the end of the 3-day trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a recurring paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- You will receive an email reminder before your trial period expires.
5.2 Recurring Billing
- After the trial period, you will be billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you selected at checkout.
- Weekly plan: charged every 7 days.
- Monthly plan: charged every 30 days.
- The price and billing frequency for your subscription are displayed at checkout and included in your confirmation email.
- By providing your payment information and completing your purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate and frequency you selected.
- Billing will continue until you cancel your subscription.
Current pricing is always available on our Pricing page. The price shown at checkout and in your confirmation email is your source of truth.
5.3 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time.
- Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance via email.
- The new price will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
- If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
5.4 Payment Methods
- We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and up to date.
- If a payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), we may retry the charge and/or suspend your access to Pro features until the payment issue is resolved.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fees.
How to Cancel
Cancel directly from your account: go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel. Cancellation is entirely self-service. You do not need to contact support, call a phone number, or send an email to cancel.
What Happens When You Cancel
- Your access to Pro features continues until the end of your current paid period.
- For monthly plans: access continues until the end of your current paid month.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation.
- There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
- You can re-subscribe at any time.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact support@workingremote-jobs.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve billing issues quickly.
7. Refund Policy
- Subscriptions are non-refundable for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of your paid period but will not receive a prorated refund.
- If you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge, charge after cancellation), you are entitled to a full refund. Contact support@workingremote-jobs.com and we will process the refund promptly.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
WorkingRemote uses artificial intelligence to generate resumes, cover letters, and other career documents. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and edited by you before use.
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is 100% accurate, complete, or free of errors.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers or any third party.
- We do not guarantee that using our AI tools will result in job offers, interviews, or any specific employment outcome.
- AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional career advice.
9. Auto-Apply Feature
The auto-apply feature allows WorkingRemote to submit job applications on your behalf to relevant job openings. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You authorize WorkingRemote to submit applications using your profile information and AI-generated materials on your behalf.
- We do not guarantee that applications will be received, reviewed, or considered by employers.
- We do not guarantee any specific number of applications will be submitted in a given period.
- You may disable the auto-apply feature at any time from your account settings.
- You are responsible for ensuring your profile information is accurate before enabling auto-apply.
10. Employer Terms
If you are an employer or recruiter posting job listings on WorkingRemote, you agree to the following:
- All job listings must be accurate, truthful, and represent genuine employment opportunities.
- You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings.
- Listings must not be false, misleading, discriminatory, or in violation of any applicable law.
- We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any job listing at our sole discretion, without notice or refund.
- Posting fees are governed by the pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
- We do not guarantee any specific number of candidates, applications, or hiring outcomes.
11. Intellectual Property
- The WorkingRemote platform, including its design, brand, logo, software, and underlying technology, is owned by Working Remote Jobs LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Content generated by our AI tools specifically for you (resumes, cover letters) belongs to you. You may use it for any lawful purpose.
- By submitting personal information and content to WorkingRemote, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform, content, or technology without our written permission.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use WorkingRemote to:
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through the platform.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform using automated tools.
- Create multiple accounts for abusive purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or security.
- Use the platform for any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- WorkingRemote is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that you will find employment through our platform.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of job listings, which may be sourced from third parties.
- In no event shall Working Remote Jobs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of WorkingRemote shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Working Remote Jobs LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
- Content you submit to the platform.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
- Your use of AI-generated content.
- Applications submitted through the auto-apply feature on your behalf.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of WorkingRemote shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal resolution first: Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@workingremote-jobs.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in New Mexico.
- Class action waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
- Small claims exception: Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
16. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
- We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
- Your continued use of WorkingRemote after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
- If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform and cancel any active subscription.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
